Monique Nugent, MD, MPH, is a practicing hospitalist and physician leader working and living in the Boston area. She earned her Medical degree at Loma Linda School of Medicine and her Master of Public Health from Harvard School of Public Health. Dr. Nugent’s career includes leadership and advocacy alongside her clinical practice. She is the author of Prescription for Admission: A Doctor’s Guide to Navigating the Hospital, Advocating for Yourself, and Having a Better Hospitalization. In her clinical and advocacy work, Dr. Nugent has dedicated herself to help making healthcare equitable, safe, and of high quality.
