Estelle M. Everett, MD, MHS

Estelle M. Everett, MD, MHS, is an endocrinologist and health services researcher whose work focuses on addressing disparities in diabetes management and outcomes. She earned her medical degree from UCLA and completed her Internal Medicine residency and fellowship in Endocrinology, Diabetes & Metabolism at Johns Hopkins University. During her fellowship, she also obtained a Master of Health Science in Clinical Investigation and a certificate in Quality, Patient Safety, and Outcomes Research from the Bloomberg School of Public Health.

Dr. Everett joined the UCLA faculty in 2019 with dual appointments in the Division of Endocrinology and the Division of General Internal Medicine and Health Services Research. Her research focuses on reducing inequities in type 1 and type 2 diabetes care, with a particular emphasis on improving access to and use of diabetes technologies such as insulin pumps and continuous glucose monitors to optimize outcomes for underserved populations.
