Adolescents With Psoriasis Have Increased Odds of Co-Occurring Allergic Diseases
The presence of psoriasis is associated with co-occurrence of allergic diseases in adolescents, according to a study published in Allergy, Asthma & Clinical Immunology. The study enrolled 3864 participants between 11 and 14 years of age. Parents completed questionnaires regarding whether their adolescent had doctor-diagnosed psoriasis as well as presence of symptoms or clinical history of asthma, rhinitis, and eczema.
